Hammond takes the Monaco Crown

After 21 hard fought races around the worlds cities races, Nathan Hammond notched up his first WSR championship win in the Mini Challenge series.

A model of consistency, Hammond scored 14 podiums during the season which set the difference to his nearest competitors, despite this only 10 points separated him from the chasing Matt Lewis going into the final round. Despite setting the practice pace however Lewis was unable to make the ground and needed the win to stand any hope, scrapping for second place with Dan Hurlock chewed up his tyres and the chance was gone.

Friday Cup will return in January, whether the Mini’s will return is to be decided but either way we look forward to another great season.
