Donington Park hosted rounds 1,2 and 3 of the British Supertouring Championship.
Practice saw newly crowned Bvtcc champion Lewis McGlade setting the early pace along with Mike Cooper and Nathan Hammond. Moments before qualifying the heavens opened and qualifying was declared a wet session but Lewis kept his cool and secured his first pole of the season ahead of an impressive Deeley and Hammond.
Race 1 was a relatively simple lights to flag for Lewis McGlade taking round 1 comfortably. A fantastic second for Nick Deeley and Hammond rounding of the podium.
Race 2 saw a drying track but the result the same with McGlade taking a second lights to flag but Hammond much closer in second with Kacper Smirnow in third.
Third and final race of the day and a bone dry track saw Cooper getting the jump on Brandow at the start into a lead he never looked back, not the same for McGlade as he had a race long duel with Brandow for third. Just edging him to second to complete a solid start in the supertourers.
Next stop Silverstone international for the final race of 2018.
